Induction mode:- To use in Induction mode, simply stand the Sigen 2 on the ground and turn the orange mode selector to the induction position. Direct Connection:- To operate the Sigen 2 in Direct Connection mode, simply connect the Sigen 2 to the service you wish to trace using the appropriate connection leads, select the connection mode on the Sigen 2, select the generator mode on the TOMCAT and trace the service. It is advisable to always use "Connection Mode" whenever possible as this is by far the best way to trace and identify buried conductors.
